Terms of Service for work.co.il

1. Introduction

Adam Lerner (licensed dealer) is the owner and operator of the website work.co.il, which provides job posting, resume placement, and related services. Use of the Website is permitted only upon the User's full agreement with the terms of this Agreement and the Privacy Policy. The Operator reserves the right to modify and update the terms of the Agreement at its discretion. It is recommended to periodically check the current version on the Website.

2. Legal Status and Liability

The Website work.co.il operates exclusively as an intermediary platform between employers, recruitment agencies, and job seekers. The Operator is not an employer, recruitment agency, company representative, or employment guarantor. Posting of job vacancies, resumes, and other information on the Website does not constitute an offer or conclusion of an employment contract, but merely provides a technical opportunity for information exchange between parties.

The Operator does not participate in the hiring process and bears no responsibility for:

  • accuracy of published vacancies and resumes
  • working conditions, salary, meeting expectations
  • delays, errors, misunderstandings between employers and job seekers

The User understands and agrees that all actions performed on the Website are carried out at their own risk.

The Operator does not guarantee:

  • uninterrupted Website operation without interruptions and technical failures
  • absence of errors, viruses, or malicious software
  • completeness, relevance, and accuracy of information
  • that all links on the Website will function correctly

All services are provided on an "AS IS" basis without any warranties.

3. User Categories

Job Seekers - individuals seeking employment, posting resumes and applications.

Employers - companies, individuals, or agencies publishing job vacancies.

Visitors - individuals browsing the Website without registration.

Each category must use the Website only in accordance with its purposes and the provisions of this Agreement.

4. Non-Discrimination

The Operator and all users are obligated to comply with the requirements of the Equal Employment Opportunities Law (5748-1988). It is prohibited to post vacancies and information containing discrimination based on gender, age, marital status, pregnancy, fertility treatment, IVF, parenthood, nationality, religion, origin, sexual orientation, opinions, disability, political views, or military service status, including reserve service.

Any advertisement violating these norms is subject to removal without notice, and the user's access to Website services may be restricted.

Complaint system: Users can report discriminatory advertisements through a special form on the Website. The Operator will review the complaint and take action at its discretion.

5. User Obligations

5.1 Job Seekers undertake to:

  • post only accurate information about themselves
  • not publish personal data of third parties without their consent
  • update and delete outdated resumes
  • not create multiple identical resumes
  • use the Website exclusively for personal job searches
  • not transfer their account to third parties

5.2 Employers undertake to:

  • provide accurate information about the vacancy, working conditions, and workplace
  • comply with Israeli legislation when hiring
  • not require prepayment, deposits, or personal documents before concluding an employment contract
  • not publish advertisements with signs of discrimination
  • respect the rights of job seekers and ensure a transparent hiring process
  • publish only real vacancies (not fictitious ones)
  • include only one vacancy for one position in one advertisement
  • not create resume databases for commercial purposes
  • not publish multiple identical advertisements simultaneously
  • publish vacancies only on behalf of an employer who has concluded an agreement with the Operator

6. Prohibited Use of the Website

Strictly prohibited:

  • using the Website for commercial purposes unrelated to job or personnel searches
  • sending spam, advertisements, or marketing materials to employers disguised as a job seeker
  • using Website content, features, and databases for promotion, marketing, or advertising commercial projects
  • copying, extracting, or using information from the Website to create proprietary databases
  • using automated tools (bots, parsers) to collect information
  • posting malware, viruses, or links to phishing sites
  • impersonating another person or organization

Important: Violation of prohibitions on commercial use results in a fine of 1,000 shekels for each violation, without the need to prove actual damage.

7. Content Publication and Moderation

The Operator reserves the right without notice to:

  • edit, block, or delete any posting if it violates the Agreement terms or Israeli laws
  • change the structure of sections, category names, and Website design
  • restrict access to certain functions upon suspicion of abuse
  • move advertisements between categories to improve relevance

The user bears full and exclusive responsibility for any content they upload, publish, or transmit through the Site, including texts, images, photographs, documents, resumes, job postings, and any other information.

The user declares and confirms that:

  • they hold all rights, licenses, and permissions required for publishing such content on the Site

  • the publication of the content does not infringe upon the rights of third parties, including copyright, privacy rights, image rights, or any other personal or proprietary rights

  • the content does not violate any applicable laws of the State of Israel

  • they bear full responsibility for any claim, damage, demand, or liability arising from the publication of such content

The Operator is not responsible for any content published by users and may remove any content at its sole discretion if it violates the Terms of Use or applicable law.

The user undertakes to compensate the Operator for any damage, loss, cost, or expense (including legal fees and attorney fees) incurred as a result of publishing content that infringes the rights of third parties.

Users are obligated not to publish materials containing:

  • inaccurate, illegal, or misleading information
  • insults, threats, slander, or discriminatory statements
  • pornographic, violent, or immoral materials
  • malware, viruses, links to phishing sites
  • information about pyramid schemes or network marketing (except for paid advertisements)

Moderation: Posted advertisements may undergo moderation before publication at the Operator's discretion.

8. Registration and Security

Upon registration, the user must provide correct information: first name, last name, email address, and phone number. It is recommended to regularly update passwords and not share them with third parties.

The Operator bears no responsibility for unauthorized use of an account by the user or third parties.

User Responsibility: The User bears full responsibility for all actions performed through their account.

9. Creating a Profile and Resume

9.1 User Profile

The user can create a profile including personal data, contact information, work experience, education, and skills. The system may automatically create a basic profile based on an uploaded resume. The user has the right to edit and update their profile at any time.

9.2 Profile Photo

When uploading a photo, the user confirms that they:

  • possess all rights to the image
  • have the right to transfer the photo to third parties
  • agree to transfer the photo to employers when sending a resume
  • grant the Operator the right to use the photo within the Website's functionality

9.3 Restrictions

One user may create only one profile for personal use.

10. Paid Services

10.1 General Provisions

Some sections and features of the Website are provided on a paid basis. Information about rates and payment terms is posted on the Website and may be updated without prior notice. Payment for services means the user agrees to the current tariff terms. In case of violation of publication rules or legislation, the user may be blocked without the right to a refund.

10.2 Cancellation and Refunds

The user can cancel a paid subscription at any time through:

  • account settings on the Website
  • contacting support by phone or email
  • written application to the Operator's office

Refund terms: When canceling during the current paid period:

  • refund is made proportionally to unused days
  • a cancellation fee of 5% of the refundable amount is deducted
  • refund period - 14 days from the date of application
  • funds for the actual service usage period are not refunded

Suspension without refund: The user can suspend the subscription at the end of the current period, avoiding charges in the next month.

10.3 Paid Services for Employers

Employers can purchase:

  • priority job postings
  • access to resume database
  • advertising banners
  • analytical tools

Important: Prices for employers are indicated without VAT.

Validity period: Some services have a limited validity period and are not subject to freezing or extension. Early removal of an advertisement does not result in a refund, except when the service was not used at all (at the Operator's decision).

11. Notifications and Mailings

11.1 Types of Notifications

The user agrees to receive:

  • system notifications about application status
  • new vacancies matching search criteria
  • informational messages from the Operator
  • marketing offers (optional)

11.2 Communication Channels

Notifications may be sent via:

  • email
  • SMS messages
  • push notifications in the app
  • WhatsApp (with user consent)

11.3 Unsubscribing from Mailings

The user can unsubscribe from marketing mailings through:

  • "Unsubscribe" link in the email
  • account settings
  • contacting support

Attention: Unsubscribing from marketing mailings does not cancel receipt of system notifications necessary for Website use.

12. Personnel Recruitment Services for Employers

12.1 Candidate Notifications

Employers viewing resumes automatically send candidates notifications about viewing. To disable this function, the employer must contact support.

12.2 Restrictions on Resume Use

The employer undertakes to:

  • use resumes only for recruiting personnel for real vacancies
  • not create candidate databases for resale
  • not transfer resumes to third parties without candidate consent
  • delete resumes after completion of the hiring process

13. Mobile Services and SMS Notifications

13.1 SMS Job Mailing

Users can subscribe to receive jobs via SMS.

Terms:

  • paid service with monthly payment
  • number of SMS is limited according to the tariff
  • only relevant vacancies are sent according to user settings

13.2 Device Requirements

To use mobile services, the following is required:

  • phone with internet support
  • active network connection (Wi-Fi or mobile internet)

The Operator bears no responsibility for:

  • internet connection quality
  • traffic costs from the mobile operator
  • user device functionality

13.3 Cancellation of SMS Services

Cancellation is carried out in accordance with general terms of cancellation of paid services (see section 10.2).

14. Limitation of Liability

The Operator does not guarantee uninterrupted Website operation and absence of errors.

The Operator bears no responsibility for:

  • direct or indirect losses related to Website use
  • delays, interruptions, errors, equipment failures, viruses, data loss
  • actions of third parties, including employers and job seekers
  • advertisement content and information accuracy
  • employment results or personnel recruitment
  • links to external resources

Limitation on job collection: The Operator makes efforts to post the maximum number of vacancies but does not guarantee complete coverage of all sources.

Not included:

  • advertisements on physical boards and walls
  • vacancies in closed communities and forums
  • advertisements in local publications not part of large networks
  • vacancies requiring registration or payment to access
  • advertisements without employer contact information
  • vacancies from employers who have prohibited posting on the Website

All services are provided "AS IS" without any warranties. The User confirms that use of the Website is carried out at their own risk.

15. Copyright and Intellectual Property

All Website content (texts, design, logos, database, structure, materials, etc.) is the intellectual property of the Operator. Copying, distribution, and use of any Website elements without written permission is prohibited.

Prohibited:

  • copying and publishing Website content on other resources
  • using content for commercial purposes
  • placing content in frames (iframe) without permission
  • extracting data by automated means (parsing, scraping)

User content rights: By posting material (vacancy, resume, image), the user transfers to the Operator a non-exclusive right to use it within the Website's activities and on social networks to promote the publication. The user retains copyright to their content and can delete it at any time.

16. Third-Party Advertising

Advertising announcements and offers from third parties may be placed on the Website.

The Operator bears no responsibility for:

  • advertising content
  • quality of advertisers' goods and services
  • fulfillment of obligations by advertisers

All claims regarding advertising offers are directed directly to the advertiser.

17. Termination of Service

The Operator may suspend or terminate service provision to the user in cases of Agreement or legislation violation, without prior notice.

Grounds for blocking:

  • repeated violation of publication rules
  • posting discriminatory content
  • commercial use of the Website in violation of terms
  • fraud or hacking attempts
  • non-payment for paid services

18. Violation of Agreement Terms

In case of user violation of any terms of this Agreement, Privacy Policy, or provisions of the State of Israel legislation, the Operator has the right to apply measures, including:

  • temporary or permanent account blocking
  • deletion of postings or restriction of access to services
  • collection of fixed compensation:
    • 50 shekels for violation of general terms of use
    • 1,000 shekels for commercial use of the Website in violation of rules

The specified compensations do not require proof of actual damage and do not limit the Operator's right to seek other legal remedies provided by law, including compensation for actual damages if any.

Obligation to compensate for damages: The User undertakes to compensate the Operator for all losses, including court costs and attorney fees, arising from violation of Agreement terms.

19. Additional Services

19.1 Salary Analysis

The Operator may provide a salary analysis service based on data voluntarily provided by users.

Terms of use:

  • participation is voluntary and anonymous
  • data is used in aggregated form
  • results are informational and not guaranteed
  • the Operator bears no responsibility for data accuracy

Gender equality position: The Operator opposes discrimination in remuneration and calls on employers to comply with principles of equal pay for equal work regardless of gender.

19.2 Resume Enhancement

Paid professional resume formatting services may be offered.

19.3 Partnership Programs

The Operator may provide discounts and bonuses from partners (courses, training, services). Use of partnership offers is governed by the terms of respective partners.

20. Special Terms and Promotions

The Operator has the right to conduct promotions and provide discounts at its discretion.

Promotion rules:

  • discounts and promotions do not stack
  • promotion terms are published on the Website
  • the Operator may change or cancel a promotion at any time
  • special tariffs may have special cancellation terms

21. Personal Data Protection

The Operator undertakes to protect users' personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy and Israeli legislation.

Data processing:

  • data is used only for Website functioning purposes
  • the Operator does not sell personal data to third parties
  • the user can request deletion of their data
  • credit card data is processed in accordance with international security standards (PCI DSS)

Statistics collection: The Operator collects anonymous Website usage statistics to improve the service.

22. Changes to Terms

The Operator reserves the right to change this Agreement at any time.

Notification of changes: Changes take effect from the moment of publication on the Website. Continued use of the Website after changes are made means agreement with the new terms. Users are recommended to periodically check the current version of the Agreement.

23. Dispute Resolution and Applicable Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Israel. All disputes arising from or in connection with the use of the Website are subject to consideration in the courts of the city of Haifa.

Pre-trial settlement: Before going to court, the parties undertake to attempt to settle the dispute through negotiations.

24. Miscellaneous Provisions

24.1 Severability of Terms

If any provision of the Agreement is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.

24.2 Language of Agreement

This Agreement is drafted in English. If versions in other languages exist, in case of discrepancies, the Hebrew version takes priority.

24.3 Headers

Section headers are used for convenience and do not affect interpretation of terms.

24.4 Waiver of Rights

The Operator's failure to take action in case of violation does not mean waiver of the right to demand performance of obligations in the future.

By accepting this Agreement, the user confirms that they:

  • have familiarized themselves with the terms and understood them
  • have reached the age of 18 (or have parental/guardian consent)
  • undertake to comply with all provisions of the Agreement
  • understand the consequences of violating the terms
