Job opening: Mechanical Maintenance Technician at Beth-El Industries (Taasiyot Beit-El) factory in Kibbutz Shaked
The work takes place at a modern production facility specializing in the manufacture of industrial filtration systems and metal structures. Main responsibilities include maintenance and repair of production equipment, troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions, performing preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections. The role also involves installation, dismantling, and calibration of machines, monitoring equipment condition, and reporting to the department manager.
Preferred candidates have previous experience as a mechanical technician in a production environment. A technical degree (mechanical engineer or certified mechanic) is an advantage. Ability to read technical drawings is required. Experience with hand tools and basic metalwork or welding skills are a plus. Candidates must be willing to work in shifts. Hebrew level – good conversational, including reading and writing.
Shift schedule:
– Morning: 6:30–16:00
– Evening: 15:45–23:45
– Night: 23:30–6:45
Exact schedule to be discussed during the interview. No work on Shabbat. Regular overtime may be required.
Transportation is provided from Hadera, Givat Olga, Pardes Hanna, Zikhron Yaakov, Or Akiva, Harish, Katzir, Hinanit, Shaked, and Afula.
Candidates from Yokneam, Tirat HaCarmel, Netanya, Daliyat al-Karmel, and Isfiya receive fuel reimbursement if arriving independently.
The company offers subsidized meals, paid travel time for company transportation, participation in the Avoda Meudefet (preferred employment after military service) program, 14 vacation days per year, and opening of a Keren Hishtalmut (education and training fund) after three years of employment.
Salary is determined during the interview. Bonuses may be granted at the management’s discretion.
