Electrician – Yagur

Job opening: Electrician at the Lageen factory in Kibbutz Yagur

This position is ideal for a professional capable of maintaining the uninterrupted operation of production equipment and engineering systems. The electrician is responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing electrical networks, performing diagnostics, and fixing malfunctions. Duties include connecting and testing equipment, working with automation systems and protection components. The electrician supports both the production lines and the factory’s infrastructure.

A valid certified electrician’s license is required. The candidate must be able to read electrical diagrams and technical documentation in English. Knowledge of PLCs, speed controllers, and temperature regulators, as well as experience with power components — motors, valves, and protection systems — is an advantage. Understanding production processes and the ability to quickly find solutions are essential. Having a personal vehicle is an advantage. Fluent Hebrew and technical English are required.

Schedule: rotating shifts — two weeks of day shifts and one week of night shifts. Working hours are 06:30–18:30 and 18:30–06:30. The workweek includes five and a half days. Saturday night shifts (Motzei Shabbat) are discussed individually. Overtime is frequent. No work on Shabbat.

Salary is determined during the interview.
